Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Promptense.com (“Promptense”, “we”, “us”) is a web-based prompt-building tool operated by CongoMedia. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or have consent from a parent or guardian.

3. Plans, trial, and access tiers

  • Quick Prompt is available on the free plan and remains free.
  • New accounts receive a 7-day free trial of full access — Quick Prompt, the Prompt Builder, reusable templates, and saving to your personal library.
  • When the trial ends, the account returns to the free plan: Quick Prompt stays available, but the Prompt Builder, templates, and saving are no longer available, and prompts previously saved to your library become inaccessible until you upgrade to a paid plan. Upgrading restores access to your saved library.
  • Paid plans are billed through our payment processor (Stripe). Prices, billing intervals, and renewal terms are shown at checkout.

4. Billing, renewals, and cancellation

  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account’s billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; access continues until then.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Promptense to create, store, or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, or that violates the rights of others, and not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

6. Your content

  • You retain ownership of the prompts and text you create (“Your Content”).
  • You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Content as needed to operate the service and as described in the Privacy Notice below (including logging prompt content for product analysis).
  • We reserve the right to remove content, and/or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Service availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Site is use at your own risk as the user is in sole control of the content they create on Promptense.com, and how that content is used outside of the site. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous month, before the claim.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date; continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
